I am a conjurer of big ideas. As an award-winning art director and writer, my goal is to create immersive experiences that generate meaningful engagements with consumers. The work in my portfolio shows the diversity of my thinking and demonstrates my ability to provide marketing solutions for clients—not just to produce advertising. I began my career working on big-budget TV, print and out-of-home. During the course of developing and executing global campaigns, I have been responsible for overseeing creative teams around the world and meeting with regional marketing managers as well as conveying objectives to my team, managing large productions and providing direction to outside vendors. A tech enthusiast, I not only follow new developments but also understand the underlying technology. As the ability to reach consumers through non-traditional media has become more viable, I’ve been able to apply this knowledge to my experience with traditional advertising in order to develop alternative methods of engaging an audience with a brand. In fact, I won the first ever One Show gold pencil for an interactive ad. I have found that creating marketing experiences can be particularly complex, and the presentation skills I’ve honed to clearly communicate ideas internally with team members and externally to partners and clients are especially valuable. My career objective is to win the first retroactive Cannes Lion for work I did that’s so far ahead of its time it isn’t recognized until years later.
